I qualified in 1980 and worked at Tokoroa Hospital prior to setting up a private practice in Tokoroa in 1989. As well as working in a standard clinic setting with post-surgical rehabilitation, spinal injuries, sprains and strains, I am also qualified and enjoy other healing modalities which are offered in the clinic such as:
- Acupuncture with special focus on Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)
- Craniosacral Therapy
- BodyTalk
- Occupational Health and Wellness

I began practising physiotherapy in 1996 here at Tokoroa Physio and in 2008 completed a post graduate certificate in Sports Medicine. I have a special interest in sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation, and experience in assisting people with their return to work rehabilitation. I incorporate exercise (including Pilates), massage, mobilisation and taping into my treatment. I have been the physiotherapist for several secondary school and representative sports teams in netball, rugby and touch rugby - my involvement mainly coming from my childrens participation in these sports.

I have been working as a Physiotherapist for over 30 years - 27 of these in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. I moved to Tokoroa in 1990 to take up a position in private practice and have worked in this field ever since. I have a broad range of experience in spinal, sports and injury related physiotherapy. I have a post graduate diploma in Manipulative Therapy as well as certificates in Craniosacral therapist (for both adults and paediatrics) and Pilates Mat Exercises (Levels 1 3). Through my children I have had the opportunity to be the physiotherapist for representative and high school hockey, squash and football teams at their tournaments.
